Get your Neighbors Sauced This Christmas!

Let’s talk about neighbor gifts for Christmas, shall we?

I don’t know if it’s like this all over the Country, but here in Utah, we are big on the whole concept of giving to our neighbors at Christmas.  I for one have awesome neighbors and want to do something meaningful for them.  But, I find that selecting a gift that’s just right can be a daunting task.

Everybody does sweets and you guys know how I feel about sweets, they are just overrated.  Sorry, but it’s true.  Nobody needs anymore sweets this Christmas, ok?  They already can’t eat the ones they have and you are just making their New Year’s resolutions harder to keep by adding one more pound to the equation.

Besides, neighbors deserve a great gift because they are important people.  Who else is going to chase of the guy trying to steal your UPS package?  Who else is going to tell that lawn fertilizer salesman that keeps knocking down your front door that you died of the plague and are never coming back?

And in my case, who else is going to smell the delicious smell of my baby back ribs sizzling on the grill, covered in Stubb’s Sauce,  wafting over the vinyl fence in the back yard, and invite themselves over for a plate?

No one else, but awesome neighbors, that’s who!

So fret no more, I have the perfect solution for you this year.  You need to get those neighbors Sauced!

Though I don’t think wrapping up a bottle of vodka or spiced rum would be a bad thing at all, it might ruin your reputation with some folks.

How about letting Stubb’s Barbeque Sauce help you get them sauced in a much more family friendly way?

These gorgeous thirty-six ounce bottles are around $6.50 and I got the adorbs mopper at a restaurant supply store on line for a couple bucks.

A length of ribbon from the dollar store and you have wrapped up a savory, smokey, and purely indulgent, yet very useful gift, that anyone would love.

Isn’t that a great idea?

I like these so much, I’m gifting one to myself!

Now, the best way to do this, is hand it over with a big smile, and before they close the door, make a little comment like, “I can’t wait for you to invite me over for a BBQ this summer so I can sample what you did with this sauce”.  Then chuckle a little bit and be on your way.  Now you’ve given a great gift and secured yourself a relaxing evening of great BBQ grub and time with friends.  It’s pure genius!

By the way, this is an unsolicited, unpaid endorsement of Stubb’s.  I happen to love their products and it helps that they bottle them up so darn cute too.

Happy giving everybody!
